Estelle (Antinopoulos) Kemerer

Estelle Antinopoulos Kemerer, 63, of Sewickley, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at home.

Born September 5, 1953, in Sewickley, Pa., she was a daughter of Georgia Kontelis Antinopoulos of Sewickley and the late James P. Antinopoulos.

She was a graduate of Ambridge High School in 1971. Estelle attended the University of Pittsburgh as an undergraduate and Carnegie Mellon University as a graduate student. She was an honor student at all levels.

During her 39 year working career in the Information Technology (IT) industry, she held the positions of Manager, Director and CIO (Chief Information Officer). She worked for the Heritage Valley Health System, The Allegheny Health Network and various corporate IT organizations. She was the consummate professional! Estelle's main focus in life, however, was her family and faith. She was a wonderful wife and devoted mother.

She worked tirelessly in raising her sons and supporting their growth and development.

Best of all, Estelle was the very best friend anyone could ever hope to have in their life!

Estelle was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Ambridge, Pa. She was an active member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

In addition to her mother, Estelle is survived by her husband, Donald C. Kemerer; two sons, Donald J. Kemerer, New Sewickley Twp., and Nickolas T. Kemerer, Sewickley; her brother, Peter Antinopoulos, Harmony Twp., and her sister, Paulette Jorden, Moon Twp.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Father Emmanuel Lillios officiating.

Interment will follow in Nativity of the Theotokos, Saxonburg, Pa.

Trisagion will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Nativity of the Theotokos.
