Eleanor E. (Briola) Skapik

Eleanor E. Skapik, 91, of Sewickley, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at home.

Born August 25, 1925, in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marie Briola.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Stephen J. Skapik Jr., in 1984; four brothers, Pete, Ray, Billy and Alfred Briola, and three sisters, Christine Painter, Clara Jove and Isabel Kivligin.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen J. III and Miriam Skapik, Columbus, Ohio; three granddaughters, Julia Skapik, Washington, D.C.; Jacqueline Skapik, New York City, N.Y., and Allison Skapik, Pittsburgh, and a great-grandson, Jack Sano, Washington, D.C.

Friends will be received Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 11 a.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. The Rev. Father Thomas J. Burke will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
