Deborah S. Kmit, 67, of Rochester, died Thursday, May 4, 2017, in her home.
Born February 11, 1950, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Glenn and MaryRose Boggs Wentz. She was retired from Economy Septic Service and was a member of Pathway Church, Chippewa Twp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. "Dick" Kmit, on February 18, 2016; two sisters, Sandra Zawoysky and Gloria Wentz.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Renee Furr, Latrobe; a stepson, Gary and Debra Kmit, Ambridge; two stepdaughters, Cindy and Lance Short, Economy and Leslie Kmit, Freedom; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Suzie Furr, Baden; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenna and Kindred Ferguson and Valerie and Thomas Dziabiak, all of Freedom; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Ed Walsh officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
