Dante L. Verdoni

Dante L. Verdoni, 65, formerly of Ambridge, died Friday, May 15, 2015.

Born Nov. 27, 1949, in Aliquippa, a son of the late Dante M. and Iona C. Chimile Verdoni, he was a former employee of J&L Steel, the Heavy Operators Union Local No. 66 and the Edgar Thompson Plant.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta J. (Daurora) Verdoni; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Mark Verdoni, Freedom; Darin and Becky Verdoni, Hopewell Twp.; one sister, Renee Verdoni, Moon Twp. and one nephew, Christopher Verdoni, Moon Twp.

Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Animal Friends or the Humane Society.
