Christine E. (Johnson) Shaw

Christine Elizabeth Shaw, 82, of Ambridge, died Thursday, April 7, 2016, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born October 28, 1933, in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late Herlin and Jessie Mae Gary Johnson, she owned and operated Chris's Beauty Salon in Ambridge. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Fair Oaks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Shaw, on August 2, 2009, and a brother, Thomas Johnson.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick and Hasina Khan, Tariq and Priscilla Khan, all of Texas, and Darryl and Darlene Spencer, California; two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie and Bill Crutcher, Farmington Hills, MI, and Teresa Lynn Spencer, Redford, MI; a brother, Harold P. Johnson, California; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A service will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 194 Ambridge Ave., Fair Oaks, by Speaker James Durham.
