Charles F. Jurcak, 87, of Economy, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in West Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 10, 1927, in Poland, a son of the late Charles and Helen (Unenk) Jurcak, he was retired from Armco. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Nazarovitch Jurcak, on June 2, 1991; a daughter, Linda Modrovich, in 2013, and three brothers, Eugene, Frank and Florian Jurcak.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James and Mileen Jurcak, Sewickley; two daughters, Shirley Ann Heater and Barbara Jurcak, both of Economy; a son-in-law, Jeff Modrovich, Harmony Twp.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Modrovich, Jennifer Modrovich, Brian Heater, Ron Heater and Brittany Jurcak; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Michael, Mia and Max; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Irene Morelli, Ambridge, and Mary and George DeVine, Chicago, IL, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. in the Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors.
