Barbara A. (Shema) Coe

Barbara A. Coe, 77, of Center Twp., died Sunday, August 6, 2017, in Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born November 23, 1939, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Nickolas and Anne Harkanich Shema, she was a registered nurse at Sewickley Valley Hospital for many years. She was a dedicated member of St. Johns Orthodox Church and was the president of the local ACRY Chapter for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Harry Coe; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia A. and Nick Dzubak, Clarksville, Md., and three grandchildren, Christopher, Allen and Daniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher John Coe, on August 25, 1991, and a brother, Jack Shema.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until time of Panachida service at 7:45 p.m. in BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge.

Translation of the body will follow to St. Johns Orthodox Church, Ambridge, where a funeral Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service with the Very Rev. Father Robert J. Prepelka officiating.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barbara's favorite charity, the Women's Center of Beaver County, 190 Third St., Beaver, PA 15009.
