August F. Antonini

Antonini F. "Augie" Antonini, 82, of Harmony Twp., died Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born January 1, 1934, in Ambridge, a son of the late Frank and Brigida Caliendo Antonini, he was retired from Ford Car Sales. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and was a former commissioner of Harmony Twp., where he served as chairman. He loved going to breakfast on Saturdays with his brothers at the Maple Restaurant. On Thursday nights, he and the Mikush friends would gather at Mikush Maytag for fun and food. His retirement job, was his dream job, working at Heritage Valley Sewickley as a mail courier. He loved the people he worked with. He was the ultimate family man, family always came first. His hobbies included antique cars, model trains and keeping up with buying and selling cars.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Taddy Antonini; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Susan Antonini, Economy Boro; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan Antonini and Michael Bariski, Harmony Twp.; three grandchildren, Jessica, Tony, and Stacey Antonini and her fiancé Ryan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Enrico and Sally Antonini, New Brighton, and Frank and Julie Antonini, Center Twp.; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Gaylord Muny, Harmony Twp.; a special cousin, Bob and Janet Mikush, Harmony Twp., and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Louis "Gigi" Antonini, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rudy and Eleanor Mosketti.

A private family viewing was held Friday, July 8, 2016, in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Valley Sewickley.
