Annelore (Wirth) Quiroz

An angel descended from heaven and whispered into her ear "Suffer no more"; and with that she left her failing body and began a new journey with peace and comfort in her soul. Annelore Wirth, age 78, left us for her heavenly journey on Monday, September 18, 2017, from Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 28, 1939, in Bamberg, Germany, to Philipp and Maria Wirth, she worked there as a hat maker and later for a toothpaste manufacturer following the end of World War II. In 1961, she met and married an American soldier and eventually settled down in Ambridge, where she remained with her son until a stroke in October 2016 began a string of illnesses which gradually led to her passing. She was a member of the Good Samaritan Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Opelt and Annamarie Braun and her daughter Connie.

Surviving are her loving son, Ronald Bufalini; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosi and Albert Governor; four brothers and their families in Germany, Karl and Angelika Wirth, Hans and Linda Wirth, Franz and Elisabeth Wirth, and Heinz Wirth; nieces, Jeanie, Iris and Sandy and their families here in Pa., with many more nieces, nephews and friends back in Germany.

Annelore will be remembered for her warm smile, giving heart, love of home decorating and delicious home cooking especially her lasagna.

She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A private family viewing and service was held Thursday, September 21, 2017, in BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Entombment followed in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
