Ann B. Walker

Ann B. Walker, 85, formerly of Coraopolis, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Heritage Valley Sewickley.


Born September 19, 1929, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late George and Kate Nerovich Valentich, she was retired from the Dravo Corp., and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Coraopolis.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Walker, on August 7, 1972; a sister, Peggy Chavlovich, and several other siblings.


Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Kristine Walker, and two grandchildren, Kara and Eric Walker, all of Hopewell Twp.


Friends will be received Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Monday, January 5, 2015, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coraopolis. Rev. Father Richard Jones will officiate.


Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
