Ann Victoria (Baronitis) Ordons

Ann Victoria Baronitis Ordons, 93, of Hopewell Twp., formerly of Ambridge, died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born September 22, 1921, in Ambridge, a daughter of the late Antonio and Victoria Baronitis, she was a member of Good Samaritan Church, the Christian Mothers, Ladies Guild and the Blue Army at the church; also the Ambridge Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Baden Legion Auxiliary.

Ann’s life was devoted to her church and caring for her family. She always set a good example and gave all of herself to those she loved. She will leave a huge void in the lives of her family along with wonderful memories and our gratitude.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Paul Ordons, in 1969, and two brothers, Stanley and Anthony “Tonchy” Baronitis.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Barbara Ordons, Gilroy, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Alberta and John Gos, with whom she resided in Hopewell Twp.; three grandchildren, Glenn (Maralissa) Ordons, Los Gatos, CA; Elizabeth (Mario) Sosa and Jennifer (Shannon) Farrington, both of Gilroy, CA; three great-grandchildren, Emma Vossoughi, Los Gatos, CA; Nathan and Sophia Farrington, both of Gilroy, CA; several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery.

The Christian Mothers Ladies Guild of Good Samaritan Church will recite a rosary Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Members of the Ambridge Eagles Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a service Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Church in her honor.
